@someguy95981 i know what u mean but sometimes i just wish i could use my mag pouches for magazines instead of bags for bbs like i do w my 60 so ill probably get a 249 then eventually grab the 240
@unearthlyp51ace reloading is easier than you think, just carry a bag or 2 around and when u run low, dump a new one in. My 249 was the same way before i got rid of it.
@someguy95981 true but then id have to balacne both guns and thatd just get awkward
plus the 240b like the m60 doesent have (easily) swappable mags wich makes reloading awkward.
i think i’ll wait for a nice new m249 to come out on the market befor my next purchase

You can’t real do that on an AEG. It’s not really possible to have recoil with an airsoft gun. There is Gas blowbacks, but they only produce small vibrations, only to about .22 rifle level. Sorry, buddy. I know it’s not as cool looking fired as the real one, but hey, at least you can shoot people with it, without killing.

but a recoil mechanism would be nice seeing the price

No. Blowback decreases value if anything, and is pointless. You also can’t make " blowback " on a gun like this, seeing how the bolt doesn’t move when fired on the real one.
why is it so expensive…
