I hacked a crappy electronic airsoft gun into a burning laser blaster using a laser diode from a 12X blu-ray disc burner. This thing is absolutely awesome. If you dont feel like spending $200 on a 12X burner just for the laser, you can get the laser diode for $50 from here: www.modwerx.com Or you can use a 2W blue laser diode for even more power! www.modwerx.com Here is the Aixiz module and glass lens: www.modwerx.com 10000 subscribers! www.modwerx.com This laser is legal to build in the US. Always wear goggles when working with lasers over 5mW! This laser outputs 700mW @ 405nm. Yes, I stole the cat reference from Afrotechmods, he is awesome. Here is his channel: www.youtube.com
Real Life Laser Gun! Airsoft Gun Hacked Into Laser Blaster!
WWW.AIRSOFTARMS.COM!! READ THIS BEFORE COMMENTING!!! This is what I refer to as an Airsoft Armored Vehicle, or basically a big toy tank, Codename: Greta. It is the second of two tank vehicles Im restoring. This tank is co-owned by Airsoft Arms and Red Dragon Paintball (www.reddragonpaintball.com). These tanks were originally mass produced as a ride for amusement parks for a game called "Tank Battle". There are also boats made from a similar design for boat battle games. The main body is built out of fiberglass and plywood and sits on a basic square steel tube frame which were custom build for these tanks. These arrent cars, lawn mowers or golf carts, and are a completely original design and are unfortunately difficult to find sparereplacement parts for. The drive system conists of an 18hp gasoline engine which drives an air pump for the canon and a hydraulic pump for the rear wheels. Hydraulic fluid is regulated to turn the wheels forward or backward. The front canopy opens up for the driver to sit, and the turret rotates 360 degrees and fires raquetballs about 100-150 feet. This particular tank can also be refitted with a water cannon for soaking your friends, or a support gun like an M249 airsoft rifle for certain games! It can carry two people; a driver and a turret gunner. It is used in conjuction with a referee at airsoft events and can be "destroyed" using mines, satchel charges, RPGs or rocket lauchers (like a nerf football launcher) or by other scenario <b>...<b>
